Dearest Marie,

I got your letter Sat PM and it is needless to say that I was glad to hear from you. You know that I am always happy to hear from my sweetheart. I am very sorry to learn that there has been so much sickness in your home and I hope all are better by now. You must finish school at R.H.S this year for I am betting on coming to the close of school, you see. I am going to try to come down to see you some Sunday night, for I have something to tell you. What kind of Kodak have you got and what kind of films does it use let me know. I will get one of your pictures (if not you) after all. Will close as I am in a hurry. Answer real soon.

Your friend, M.O.

Marie… you go with your bad self and that Kodak! If you’re new to the blog- I am a photographer in Savannah who is obsessed with finding vintage love letters. Follow along and search for the hashtag #dearmarie to see how everything unfolds.
