My First Vlog!

FILED IN: Personal

I recently heard that if you aren’t evolving every 2-3 years you find yourself in this awful stagnant place. The word “stagnant place” makes me think of those dirty creeks where flesh eating bacteria live. It’s also no bueno for creatives. I am SO PUMPED to be heading into this huge uncharted territory for me of video. I forgot what it felt like to be totally consumed and driven to learn something new. Today I have had about twenty browser windows open with tutorials at any given time. This entire day has passed  by and I don’t know where the sun went and how I forgot to eat lunch and dinner. The last time I felt this way was when I was learning how to teach myself photography and photoshop eight years ago. This video is the product of like 28 hours of editing. It’s not perfect but at least I know everything from here on out will be even better. While it was so mentally consuming and exhausting it sure was fun! In it you will find some typical Callie’s day stuff. Talking to strangers, wandering around my favorite places in Savannah with my favorite people.

Callie, you are so inspiring – you just love on people, and your excitement for life is infectious.
