My favorite thing to wear for boudoir… or as I prefer to call them “beauty sessions…” is this KILLER lace dress from Amazon. It’s super affordable and with amazon prime it will arrive at your doorstep a day or two later. It didn’t even take a full 24 hours for me which is insane! This lace dress is so feminine, has great coverage but is still sexy. I would say this dress fits true to size. It’s also under $20! I recommend this for all body types!

I also adore this long sleeve lace leotard. I know many women would prefer to minimize the arm area and this does just that… while showing off some leg. I am pretty tasteful in my posing with this leotard as well. I will most likely shoot you sitting on the edge of a chair in some flattering leg positions. The snaps on this one are a little plastic-y… so maybe order a size larger than you would normally wear if you have a long torso! It’s also under $13… can’t beat that!

 

I love when ladies wear their partners button up shirts. It goes back to really giving me many ways to position it on you so that the features you want displayed are beautifully done so.

 

In your session you should without a doubt bring some pieces of clothing or props that are meaningful to you or your significant other. Michelle’s husband is in the Army so she slipped his jacket and dog tags out of the house for a few hours!

 

I recommend bringing a mix of panties and bras to go under your outfits- a white pair, black pair, nude pair. Pack a pair of heels that you love! Those are lots of fun to play with.

Another tip is to make sure that your nails look neat. Be sure to get them painted just before your session or take chipped polish off before your shoot.

I do recommend adding professional hair and makeup styling. It’s so refreshing to be pampered a little. The hair and makeup artists that I use generally charge $75 for hair and $75 for makeup.
