This spring I have had a great time shooting engagements around the Pulaski Square area of the Savannah Historic District. I usually start in that square and then wander in a different direction for each different shoot. I found that this area was the most gorgeous with the spring blooms. Clients like Madeline and Conner is why I do what I do. They are so easy going and full of joy. Madeline trusted my vision from the beginning and it led us to some pretty incredible places. I can’t wait to get all sentimental in a blog with their wedding photos soon, but I will say that it was a magical day. Through the rain and delays throughout the day they never let their focus leave what was truly important- their marriage and the people around them. As I was speaking to Madeline & Conner’s family, it struck me as hilarious and so serendipitous that every single person separately said the same exact thing about this pair. It is so obvious that they are such a perfect match for each other!
I decided to shoot a little medium format film for this engagement session. I think that Spring in Savannah paired with film photography and lovebirds like these just make the perfect combination! I adore the dreamy tones! I couldn’t help but capture a few photos of the flowers blooming around us! Both Conner and Madeline are shy at first, and in no time you see that they are just so wickedly funny. I truly loved spending an afternoon capturing your engagement photos for you!
Beautiful sweet moments captured of the couple and LOVE how you have captured the blossoms too!
