Savannah is my spirit city in so many ways. I LOVE artists of all forms. So it makes total sense that my newfound focus on taking artist portraits here in Savannah, Ga has given me so much life. I love getting a peek into their process, inspiration and learn about the things that make their artist heart soar. I met Candace several years ago when she asked me to shoot her elopement. I arrived at their suite at the Marshall House and she was watercolor painting her wedding bouquet. I knew in that moment that we would be friends! I felt so special to be their only wedding guest! Now, a few years later, I have had the privilege of getting to know Candace & Ras’ entire family! They are simply “good people.”

When Candace asked me if I would take some artist portraits for her new website I couldn’t have been more excited. I am so proud of how far she has come with her craft, and how she is bravely putting herself out there and pursuing the gifts that God has so lavishly blessed her with!
