Cumberland Island Family Portrait Photographer

I am a wedding and portrait photographer who loves to document real moments on Cumberland Island, also known as my personal heaven on earth.

Dude. Out of 300 perfect photos, it was so hard to pick just a few favorites to share here. I LOVE THESE FAMILY PORTRAITS SO MUCH! This is my goal: to show genuine emotion and personalities. To take portraits of children being children and having so much fun. To create gorgeous, romantical portraits of Mama and Daddy, because they deserve that and their children deserve to have those photos of their parents. I feel it can be so easy to get lost in the role of a mom and dad, and it is so refreshing to take some time to be husband and wife. I just die every time I see the photo of Batch holding his Mama in his loving embrace. The lively photos of the Ball family playing at the beach are just some of my most adored of all time. I so wish I had photos of me with my parents playing like we did when we were young.

I also don’t know how I have gone a whole paragraph without restating something I have said on this blog over and over and over again- Cumberland Island is the most magical place on Earth, sorry Walt D. To be honest, I hope to elope in front of the Plum Orchard mansion as soon as I can get my wedding ducks in a row. I can not wait to stay a few days at the Greyfield Inn and enjoy all that Cumberland Island has to offer. Please excuse me while I SEO the you-know-what out of this post so that everyone and their mom want to hire me to photograph them on Cumberland Island so that I have an excuse to go there all of the time, maybe even become a hermit who lives in the sand dunes with the wild horses…. hahahah….
