Most summers I let busyness control my schedule and well intentions to enjoy my favorite season get swept under the rug. This year I am being more intentional with my calendar. I am setting aside a day for creativity and things that make me feel alive. One of my favorite things is to float in the ocean. I also love to talk to strangers! This particular day I combined so many things that fill my joy cup. After my boudoir session I went to Adam Turoni for some habanero chocolate, wandered around the Paris Market, stopped in Blick for some art supplies and then realized that I had three hours of sunlight to do whatever I liked. I ran home to put on my swimsuit, grabbed my Diana toy film camera and headed to Tybee Island. I had so much fun enjoying summertime with those around me. I got some photos of new friends who also enjoy playing in the ocean as much as I do… look at the happiness on her face! How we spend our time is how we spend our lives.
