We had the pleasure of documenting Karina & William’s rehearsal dinner at the historic Olde Pink House in Savannah, Georgia. Getting to take photos at the Pink House makes this photographer a happy girl! Haha! The Olde Pink House is definitely a favorite for locals and tourists alike. I especially love that not only did I get to photograph Karina & William’s rehearsal dinner at the Pink House, but also that they brought on Grey Harper’s floral designs to make it a stunning affair. Oh my gooooosh she is a total wizard with flowers. Andrea seriously outdoes herself at every event! We absolutely love documenting rehearsal dinners! In my honest opinion, there is such an excellent opportunity to capture some truly emotional and impactful candids as this is the first organized event before the big day. My favorite aspect of photographing rehearsal dinners are definitely the speeches. It really makes you feel as if you know the couple, their journey that led them to this day and how much they are loved. Rehearsal dinners are always so touching to me! Plus- there is usually a fabulous dress and pair of shoes purchased for the occasion and I am more than happy to snap some photos of how great you look in them! Tell me Karina’s dress and shoes aren’t just so perfect!

When we document rehearsal dinners we usually shoot for ninety minutes to two hours. This gives us plenty of time to get in the space before everyone arrives to photograph the gorgeous details of the space. We shoot candids throughout the event and love to pull the couple outside for a few portraits! Sometimes they want to bring loved ones outside for a few shots and that is always so much fun.
