Just before the holiday weekend Hunter asked me if I trusted him to plan an epic day of surprise adventures. Duh! It definitely lived up to the hype. He told me to bring comfy clothes, a bathing suit and fancy clothes- and my camera of course! We woke up early and drove to Middleton Place Plantation. We walked around the grounds and it was just so beautiful. It was a low country dream! We saw so much wildlife and loved the cooler-than-normal morning temperatures. I learned how to sync my nikon d750 with my iphone and had so much fun editing them on the spot.
I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. After adventuring back in time at Middleton Place Plantation we drove to Charleston. We went paddle boarding and we were so close to dolphins! Which if you know me at all is my literal dream. I soooooo want to get a paddle board now. It’s just like a kayak but with less restrictions and I love that you have easier access to the water. We paddled to a sand bar and I got a few beautiful, huge shells that I’m going to use as paint trays! He did such a good job showing me a little more about what the south east has to offer. I can’t wait for our next adventure!
