Josh & Beverly are having a brunch wedding, so I was crazy excited to create an engagement session around this theme. We opted for an in-studio session and just had the best time collecting props and setting the scene for their engagement session. Since I am both a couples photographer and a classic, fine art boudoir photographer this was a perfect combination of the artwork I love to create. I think that these photographs really beautifully portray their relationship and fun-loving personalities.

I am still finding feathers in my studio, but it was absolutely worth it. The love letters from the 1930’s that I found in an antique store here in Savannah also made a guest appearance in our styling. Speaking of a few of my favorite things, Josh & I were setting up the room the conversation turned to the discovery that we are all three huge Nora Ephron / You’ve Got Mail fans. YES! I LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!

I have to say, especially in the last year or two, the clients that have found me are 100% people that I would be friends with. Josh and Beverly are creative, kind and just filled with joy. Actually, after their engagement session they were going to setup for an awesome event they were emceeing for their church! Josh and Beverly are about so many things that make my heart sing. I have such respect for this couple and I have loved getting to know them and capture timeless photos for them. It was such a dream!
