Two weeks ago my family went on such an incredible vacation together to New Hampshire and Maine. My sister has been with Dustin for over ten years now, and at the end of last year they went to the court house to get married. (YAY!) Because both Jenny and myself are alike in the fact that we don’t like to be the center of attention lol, they planned a perfect, intimate party to celebrate their marriage. I will definitely share photos from that soon!
It’s not very often that my family is able to take off from work and busy lives to set aside nearly a whole week to just be together and go have some fun! We rented an airbnb on the beach in Seabrook, New Hampshire and just had the time of our lives. We drove up the coast to Kennebunkport, played games, hung out on the beach and made so many great memories.
One of the best parts about it is that the weather was PHENOMENAL! South Georgia was in a record breaking heat wave when we left, and in New Hampshire we actually needed a coat from time to time. But on our beach day it was so warm and sunny but without the sweat-inducing humidity found in the South. Actually the area where Jenny lives is a lot like Savannah! It’s surrounded by gorgeous marshes and coast line. It’s a beautiful historic town that we loved exploring. I am so glad that I brought my camera! Here are a few scenic photos from our trip!
